Course Overview
The 8th Annual Winship Cancer Institute Oncology Nursing Symposium will provide an intimate learning environment where multiple facets of oncology nursing will be explored. Internationally and nationally recognized speakers will review clinical experiences, present solutions to clinical challenges, and discuss new diagnostic tools and new therapies. The symposium will update health care professionals on the emerging trends in oncology nursing clinical practice and research, and will provide participants with practical strategies and hands-on tools to improve their nursing knowledge.
Target Audience
This symposium is designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other health care professionals involved in the care of oncology and hematology patients.
Registration
Advance registration is encouraged as space and materials are limited. The conference registration fee includes tuition, syllabus, electronic program materials, reception, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks. To qualify for the early registration fees, your registration form must be postmarked by Monday, February 15. Registration fees will not be refunded after Sunday, March 1. Emory employees, please check with your department to see if they offer smart key payment prior to reserving.

Abstract/Poster Submission
We seek abstract submissions that describe nursing innovations and nursing research. Attendees are encouraged to submit an abstract for the poster session. Abstract instructions and registration information can be found on the conference website. To submit an abstract for the poster session, please email your abstract to Roberta Kaplow, roberta.kaplow@emoryhealthcare.org.
