October 15: Educate. Engage. Empower. A Conference for Those Impacted by Breast Cancer

Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital Auditorium
Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta is joining Emory's Glenn Family Breast Center to provide an opportunity about breast cancer that will help to educate, engage and empower those impacted by breast cancer. The agenda will include a mock tumor board preview so participants can see how a multidisciplinary care team discusses and constructs a personalized treatment plan for every patient. Other topics will include clinical trial advances, screening recommendations and a cooking demo. Continental breakfast and refreshments will be provided.
October 22: Breastival: A Breast Cancer Screening and Educational Event
8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Emory University Hospital Midtown Glenn Building
In partnership with Sisters by Choice, learn about breast cancer prevention and treatment and be eligible for free breast cancer screenings in a fun atmosphere with games to test your knowledge about breast cancer and prizes.
October 27: Blomeyer’s 6th Annual Spin-A-Thon
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Blomeyer Health Fitness Center at Emory
Rent a bike for a great cause! Bikes are $10 for 60 minutes, $25 for unlimited. All proceeds go to the Glenn Family Breast Center at Winship Cancer Institute.
