Updates in Medicine is a full day program designed to present up-to date information and pearls from a variety of general and sub-specialty derived topics. Expert Emory faculty will present evidenced-base and emerging practical clinical approaches to patient care.

SCHEDULE 

Friday, October 18th 8:00 am – 4:00 pm in Emory School of Medicine – Suite B31 (Basement level)

Pre-Conference Workshops: Utilizing Emory’s School of Medicine State of the Art Simulation Laboratory

• Ultrasonography:  hone or develop skills in cardiac, abdominal, vascular, and pulmonary ultrasonography.
• Skills Lab: develop or improve skills in imaging interpretation, EKG review, management of common dysrhythmias, suturing, central line placement, IOs, and lumbar puncture.

Saturday, October 19th 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. in Emory School of Medicine Auditorium - Room 120 (Registration and breakfast begins at 7:30 am.)
