Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University is joining forces with Be The Match for "Cheek Week," June 14-20, to encourage new donors to join the bone marrow registry. For the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. Over the past 30 years, Be The Match has managed the largest and most diverse marrow registry in the world to save lives through transplant. But even with such a large registry, there are still patients who do not have a match.

Please join us for this special webinar with Dr. Amelia Langston, director of Winship's Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Program, and Rebecca Garber, partnership manager at Be The Match, who will speak about the importance of joining the registry to up the odds of patients finding a matching donor. There will be time to ask questions via chat. To join the registry, a Text-to-Join code will be shared. Registration takes about 5 minutes, and then a swab kit is sent to you through the mail.

We look forward to having you join us to learn more!

Please join us at noon on June 18 using this Zoom link: https://emory.zoom.us/j/98978987689. The session will be recorded and shared for those unable to join the live event.
