The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing invites you to attend a lecture by Fuld Distinguished Visiting Scholar Salimah H. Meghani, PhD, MBE, RN, FAAN, on Tuesday, April 18, from 4 – 5 p.m. in Room P01 of the School of Nursing, 1520 Clifton Road. She will speak on "Opioid Epidemic and Cancer Pain Care: Lessons from Converting Policies into Practice."
A renowned palliative care researcher, Dr. Meghani is Professor of Nursing and Term Chair of Palliative Care at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Her research specializes in symptom management in the context of social inequality and disparities.
Registration is needed to attend the event via Zoom and receive Emory Nursing Professional Development Center (ENPDC) credit. The ENDPC is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation.
