    The Emory Stem Cell Core invites you to participate in a special workshop to learn somatic cells reprogramming and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) maintenance.

    October 16 and 17, 2023
    Workshop fee: $1,130 per participant.

    Prerequisite:
    • Knowledge of sterile cell culture
    • Research lab safety training
    After attending this course, participants should be able to:
    • Prepare cell culture reagents and assess fibroblasts and iPSC morphology and viability.
    • Thaw and passage fibroblasts and iPSCs.
    • Use Sendai virus to reprogram fibroblasts.
    • Characterize the newly generated iPSC lines.
    • Apply this knowledge to reprogram other somatic cell types
