The annual Winship Scientific Symposium seeks to highlight the outstanding research of Winship investigators, deepen our understanding of important topics and provide opportunities to cultivate collaboration. The 2024 symposium will bring together leading researchers from Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute and Georgia’s top universities to explore groundbreaking advancements in cancer care. This symposium serves as a platform for fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, sharing innovative research findings, and identifying opportunities for joint projects.

Abstract submission registration is CLOSED
Deadline to Submit an Abstract: October 31, 2024, at noon. Note that there are a limited number of poster presentation slots, so please register early to secure your spot.
Eligibility: Students and trainees associated with Winship-affiliated investigators are encouraged to submit an abstract for poster presentation when they register. All cancer-related abstracts submitted by eligible presenters will be invited to participate in the poster competition.
Submission Requirements: Abstracts should be text only (no figures or images please) and should fit on one page. Include the abstract title and the names and affiliations of each author.
Poster Dimensions: For the Emory poster boards the preferred poster printing size is 31.5 inches high by 56 inches wide. The poster boards themselves are 4 ft high by 5 ft wide.
Poster Reception and Competition: The poster reception and competition will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the Silverbell Pavilion at the Emory Conference Center Hotel.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top-scoring poster presenters.
