The first annual TCMI Symposium seeks to highlight the outstanding research of Winship investigators, deepen our understanding of important topics and provide opportunities to cultivate collaboration. The 2026 symposium will feature leading researchers from the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University's Translational Cancer Metabolism Initiative. This symposium serves as a platform for fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, sharing innovative research findings, and identifying opportunities for joint projects.

Abstract submission registration will open November 17, 2025
Deadline to Submit an Abstract: March 13, 2026, at noon. Note that there are a limited number of poster presentation slots, so please register early to secure your spot.
Eligibility: Students and trainees associated with Winship-affiliated investigators are encouraged to submit an abstract for poster presentation when they register. All cancer-related abstracts submitted by eligible presenters will be invited to participate in the poster competition.
Submission Requirements: Abstracts should be text only (no figures or images please) and should fit on one page. Include the abstract title and the names and affiliations of each author.
Poster Reception and Competition: The poster reception and competition will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the HSRB II Lobby.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top-scoring poster presenters.
