Details
The first annual TCMI Symposium seeks to highlight the outstanding research of Winship investigators, deepen our understanding of important topics and provide opportunities to cultivate collaboration. The symposium features leading researchers from Winship's Translational Cancer Metabolism Initiative and serves as a platform for fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, sharing innovative research findings and identifying opportunities for joint projects.

Registration is complimentary and includes meals and refreshments.
Deadline to Submit an Abstract:Extended to March 17, 2026, at noon. Note that there are a limited number of poster presentation slots, so please register early to secure your spot.
Eligibility: Students and trainees associated with Winship-affiliated investigators are encouraged to submit an abstract for poster presentation when they register. All cancer-related abstracts submitted by eligible presenters will be invited to participate in the poster competition.
Submission Requirements: Abstracts should be text only (no figures or images please) and should fit on one page. Include the abstract title and the names and affiliations of each author. Please underline name of the presenter.
Short Talk: Two top-scoring abstracts will be selected for 15 min short talks during the Symposium.
Poster Reception and Competition: The poster reception and competition will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the HSRB II Lobby.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three scoring poster presenters.
