RESEARCH IT DAY 2018 is an all-day conference offering an opportunity to learn more about the research IT services, offerings, and topics available at Emory University. There will be a series of presentations, hands-on learning sessions, and collaboration opportunities with various service providers across our campus.

Opening remarks will be presented by Senior Vice Provost for Library Services and Digital Scholarship and Enterprise Chief Information Officer Rich Mendola.
Breakfast, lunch, and assorted refreshments will be provided.
Highlights of the sessions include:
Emory’s new Amazon Web Services (AWS) offering available early in FY19
Techniques to visualize your data using Tableau
Ways to protect data and your personal information
Discussions of best practices for grant-required data management plans
Opportunities to meet and collaborate with research cores and service providers
Sessions to introduce you to tools, such as REDCap and LabKey
Information on Clinical Data Warehouses for research use at EHC, Grady, and Children's
Half-day training for AWS and Tableau (limited to 18 seats)
