Patients, caregivers, and staff are invited to 'Healing and the Arts,' a week of innovative programming taking place Feb. 11-16 on the Clifton Road campus. Sponsored by Emory's Compassion-Centered Spiritual Health initiative, all events are free and include mandala sand painting by the Tibetan Lamas from Drepung Loseling Monastery, lectures, and meditation led by Emory CBCT® instructors offered daily at 7:30am, noon, and 8pm.

Mandala Sand Painting Live Exhibition by the Tibetan Lamas from Drepund Loseling Monastery
Location: Hospital Tower/Clinic Bridge Connections
- February 11: opening ceremony at noon; live exhibition until 6pm
- February 12 through 15: live exhibition, 11am - 8pm
- February 16: live exhibition at noon until closing ceremony at 3pm
Lectures on Compassion-Centered Spiritual Health
Location: Room T239, Emory University Hospital Tower
- February 12: "Meditation for Focus and Stress Relief," at noon
- February 14: "The Lama’s Approach to Working with the Emotions," at noon
Meditation led by Emory's CBCT® (Compassion Training) Instructors
Location: Emory University Hospital Chapel
- February 11 through 15: meditation sessions will be held at 7:30am, noon, and 8pm each day.
