The 11th Annual BMT Cell Therapy Winter Workshop will take place on Friday, December 9th, one day prior to the 64th Annual ASH conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dec 10-13, 2022. Like the ASH conference, the BMT workshop will be a hybrid event with the option to attend in-person in New Orleans or via a virtual format.

Like the ASH conference, the in-person BMT Workshop will be broadcasted virtually with access to the meeting’s virtual platform included with free registration. This year's host is Dr. Hana Safah, Director of the Stem Cell Transplantation Program and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Programs at Tulane University. Serving as Co-chairs since 2012, are Dr. Marcel van den Brink, Head of the Division of the Hematologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Dr. Edmund K. Waller, Associate Director of Clinical Research at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
The workshop will continue to build on progressive and innovative research with 18 rapid fire talks by various experts covering unpublished clinical and pre-clinical data pertinent to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cell therapy.

The BMT Cell Therapy Winter Workshop was created by co-chairs Dr. Marcel van den Brink, Head of the Division of the Hematologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Dr. Edmund K. Waller, Director of the Center for Regenerative Engineering and Medicine at Emory University. Since its inception in 2012, the annual workshop has provided a catalytic forum that has helped facilitate the communication and application of new technologies to old and new challenges in the field of stem cell transplantation and cellular immunotherapy. The workshop continues to build on progressive and innovative research with topics covering unpublished clinical and pre-clinical data pertinent to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cell therapy.
